Method Tutors is currently founder-led, with tuition delivered personally by Krish Sanghavi. The focus is simple: explain ideas clearly, ask the right questions and help students become more confident solving problems for themselves.

Teaching students how to think through difficult problems.
Krish founded Method Tutors around a simple principle: effective tuition should do more than help students memorise content or reproduce familiar solutions. Students make the greatest progress when they understand what they are doing, why it works and how to adapt that thinking to unfamiliar questions.
His scientific training strongly influences the way he teaches. When a student struggles, the first question is not simply what they got wrong, but why: was there a gap in knowledge, a conceptual misunderstanding, difficulty interpreting the question, a problem applying the idea, an execution error or an exam-technique issue?
Academic background
Krish is currently completing a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research at Imperial College London. He also holds an MSc in Immunology from Imperial College London and a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science.
Teaching approach
Lessons are problem-solving focused and individually planned. Rather than moving mechanically through a specification, teaching is directed towards the areas most likely to improve the student’s understanding, confidence and performance.
The longer-term aim is independence: students should become better at recognising what a question is asking, selecting an appropriate method and evaluating their own reasoning without relying on a tutor beside them.
Subjects
Krish currently teaches GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics and Sciences, alongside A-Level Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. Tuition is adapted to the student’s exam board, current performance and academic goals.
