Student welfare

Safeguarding.

Professional, age-appropriate online tuition with clear communication and boundaries.

Parent and guardian involvement

For school-age students, a parent or guardian remains the primary contact for bookings, payment and important administrative communication.

Online lessons

Tuition is delivered through agreed online platforms and should take place in an appropriate environment. Students and parents should use the agreed contact channels for lesson-related communication.

Professional boundaries

Communication with students is kept relevant to tuition and conducted professionally. Personal social-media contact is not used as part of the tutoring relationship.

Concerns

Any concern about a student’s welfare will be taken seriously and handled in line with appropriate safeguarding responsibilities. Where necessary, concerns may need to be shared with a parent, guardian or relevant safeguarding authority.

Contact

Parents or guardians can raise a safeguarding or welfare concern by emailing hello@methodtutors.co.uk.
