Method Tutors is a trading name of Krish Sanghavi. This notice explains how personal information is used when you enquire about or receive tutoring services.
Information collected
When you make an enquiry, Method Tutors may collect your name, contact details, the student's first name, year group, subject, exam board, current and target grades, availability, and information you choose to provide about the support you are seeking.
Why the information is used
The information is used to respond to enquiries, assess whether tuition may be suitable, arrange consultations and lessons, provide tutoring services, communicate with parents or students, and keep appropriate business records.
Legal basis
Information submitted in an enquiry is generally processed because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a tutoring arrangement, and where appropriate for the legitimate interests of operating and safeguarding a tutoring service.
Who receives the information
Website enquiry submissions are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to Method Tutors' business email hosted by Zoho Mail. Web3Forms acts as a form-processing service and may temporarily retain form submissions in accordance with the retention settings for the Method Tutors form. Cloudflare provides the website hosting, DNS and security layer.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry and manage any resulting tutoring relationship or business, legal and safeguarding requirements. Method Tutors will configure the website form for the shortest practical Web3Forms retention period and will keep any ongoing correspondence in its business email only for as long as necessary. Information that is no longer required is deleted or securely disposed of.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can raise a privacy request by emailing hello@methodtutors.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies and analytics
Method Tutors does not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies on this website. If analytics or other non-essential tracking is introduced later, this notice and any required cookie controls will be updated.
