Mathematics tuition
GCSE & IGCSE Mathematics Tuition
Build secure methods, stronger mathematical reasoning and the confidence to tackle unfamiliar exam questions without relying on memorised routines.
How tuition works
Understand the method — and recognise when to use it.
Lessons are planned around the student’s current understanding and the demands of their own specification. We use questions diagnostically: not just to see whether an answer is right or wrong, but to identify what needs to change next.
Common areas we work on
- Algebra and equation solving
- Graphs and functions
- Ratio, proportion and percentages
- Geometry and trigonometry
- Probability and statistics
- Multi-step and unfamiliar problem solving
The Method
From knowing the content to using it well.
Students often lose marks even when they know the relevant technique. We work on interpreting what the question is asking, choosing an efficient route, carrying it out accurately and communicating the reasoning clearly.
Why was the mark lost?
Knowledge · Understanding · Interpretation · Application · Execution · Exam technique
Exam-board specific
Teaching is adapted to the student’s specification, question style and mark-scheme expectations rather than using a one-size-fits-all course.
